GSOP Chapters

The Granite State Organizing Project has chapters across the state. Each chapter focuses on issues that are important to their local community. Although every chapter may be working on different issues, they are all under the umbrella of GSOP, share GSOP’s values, and follow GSOP’s community organizing model. 

Manchester Chapter
Manchester Chapter

The Manchester Chapter works on local housing policy by advocating for more affordable housing development, pressing landlords to accept Section 8 Vouchers and working for more inclusionary housing policies. The chapter meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6pm in the Unitarian Universalist Church (669 Union St, Manchester). Contact Viola at violakat@granitestateorganizing.org to find out more.

Concordia Lutheran Church
Souhegan Valley Chapter

The Souhegan Valley is made up of several towns including Milford and Amherst. The SV Chapter is focused on childhood hunger in local schools, making the SV more walkable, and anti-racism. The meeting date and time varies so email Angela Pape at angelapape.mip@gmail.com to find out more.

American Friends Service Committee: New Hampshire
Nashua Chapter

The Nashua Chapter focuses on local immigration support and local housing policy. They meet the third Monday of the Month at 6:30pm in the Main Street United Methodist Church (154 Main Street, Nashua). Contact Tori at torim@granitestateorganizing.org to find out more.

claremont chapter
Upper Valley Chapter

The Upper Valley includes several towns, such as Claremont, Hanover, Lebanon, New London, and Sunapee. The Upper Valley Chapter is dedicated to bringing people together from both sides of the river to tackle the region’s unique challenges. The chapter meets on Zoom every 3rd Thursday of the month at 12:30 p.m. To learn more, email Viola at violakat@granitestateorganizing.org.

Concord Chapter

The Concord chapter is brand new! The members are going through training in community organizing and community listening sessions.
