Immigration 101 (in collaboration with NH Alliance for Immigrants and Refugees)

This training goes over the different types of immigration status, immigration laws, and common terms (such as DACA, TPS, and undocumented). It also debunks harmful myths about immigrants in our country. This is a one hour training with an accompanying slideshow presentation and can be done in person or on Zoom.

Active Bystander Training

Active Bystander Training is about stepping in when you see biased anger in public. For example, if you hear someone making racist comments towards another person in the grocery store. We teach tools to de-escalate and return control of the situation to the victim as well as helping to bring them to a safe location. This training is two hours and highly interactive with group activities and the opportunity to share stories and experiences. This training can only be done in person.

Know Your Rights

This training covers the Constitutional rights for all people living in the United States. It also goes over who is at risk for deportation and what to do when in contact with an ICE officer – whether at home, in public, at work, or in a place of worship. Finally, the Know Your Rights training explains how to recognize a legal arrest warrant and how prepare for detention. This is a one hour training with an accompanying slideshow presentation and can be done in person or over Zoom.

Rapid Response

The Rapid Response training explains what bystanders can do when witnessing an arrest. We teach only legal strategies – such as recording and asking questions. This training also covers how to set up local support teams that can respond to emergency hotline calls. This is a one hour training with an accompanying slideshow presentation. This training can only be done in person.
