Minimum Wage Petition

New Hampshire is the only state in New England that defaults to the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour, which has not been raised in 16 years. Hourly wages in neighboring states range from $14.01 in Vermont, $14.65 in Maine, $15 in Massachusetts, $15 in Rhode Island, to $16.35 in Connecticut.

Year after year, the NH state lawmakers have had an opportunity to increase wages for Granite Staters, but instead choose to side with big donors, lobbyists, and big corporations by voting legislation down, keeping wages so low that many full-time hardworking people live in poverty and struggle to make ends meet.

Add your name to demand that NH lawmakers stand up for working families and raise the minimum wage to a livable wage.
